Carvoeiro or Carvoeiros (Portuguese meaning fields, Capeverdean Crioulo, ALUPEC or ALUPEK: Karvuéru, São Vicente Crioulo: Kamp ) is a village in the north of the island of São Nicolau. Carvoeiro is connected with a road linking Tarrafal and Ribeira Brava.

Most of the houses are built with mud brick and stone, the rest are concrete or sand with stone and some houses are built with brick and steel reinforced concrete. The area is in the island's low class. A part of the needy materials comes from the island capital, the island capital and Diaspora. But for other needs, electricity, communications, appliances and street lights are available in the area as well as phone lines since the late 20th century. A part of the necessities also comes from the island capital.

The village offers a view of mountains of the north of the area including the northeastern portion and the Atlantic Ocean.
